Weyinmi founded Guidepost Inc. after recognizing a systemic gap in the California CPA marketplace: Regional Center vendors — mostly nonprofits and small service organizations — were being underserved by general practice firms that lacked the regulatory depth to navigate WIC §4652.5 compliance correctly.
The result was costly management letter findings, misclassified 85/15 expenses, missed deadlines, and vendors who did not understand why they kept receiving compliance letters year after year. Guidepost was built to fix that.
Today, Guidepost serves vendors across all 21 California Regional Centers — from small nonprofits just crossing the $500,000 threshold to mid-size organizations with complex multi-RC funding structures and multi-year audit histories.
What Makes Us Different
Every member of our engagement team has been trained specifically on WIC §4652.5, Title 17, DDS reporting standards, and the 85/15 program spending classification rules. We do not assign Regional Center engagements to staff who are learning on the job.
We quote a fixed fee upfront based on your funding level, complexity, and fiscal year end. You will not receive an invoice for more than the quoted amount. If scope expands materially beyond what was agreed, we discuss it with you first.
